As Senior Foundation Officer, you will work closely with the Manager QLF to identify and secure competitive funding grants and assist in the planning and implementation of fundraising campaigns for State Library. You must be a motivated self-starter who is future focused with an energy to identify and enhance opportunities to securing funding.

• Delivering a high-quality schedule of grant related funding solutions and standards of output while meeting State Library's service commitments
• Participating in a high-performing QLF team to achieve State Library's fundraising priorities, specifically in fundraising and grants, ensuring outcome focused proposals and impact reports. This includes contributing to the day-to-day activities of the team, delivering on key service objectives, and working with project teams to deliver donor funded outcomes
• Researching, identifying, and recommending potential new sources of funding from major donors, corporate sponsors, philanthropic trusts, and foundations. This includes high-level client liaison and engagement with community, organisations and research sectors as well as preparing supporting documentation including sponsorship proposals, grant applications and funding acquittals
• The ability to source content and deliver a high standard of written material, with strong attention to detail, spelling and grammar, to produce the following items for a wide range of audiences - direct mail campaigns, communication collateral, speeches, pitch presentations, general correspondence and web page updates as well as all event and program related materials, electronic newsletters, and social media updates
• Maintaining detailed sponsor/donor related records including contact information and correspondence by undertaking records management in State Library's key systems and platforms, Raiser's Edge and RecFind
