Mornington Island State School (MISS) is a Remote Indigenous Community School located in the Gulf of Carpentaria. If you are a teacher with a few years' experience, who is passionate about using technology to excite and engage students, and to stimulate their Critical and Creative Thinking, and you are ready for the exhilarating challenge of helping to build a Digitally Capable 21st Century School in one of the Remotest parts of Australia…then we absolutely want to hear from you.
Contact load would be around 50%, mostly in an instructional coaching / co-teaching role. The remainder of your time would be spent implementing and maintaining ICT infrastructure across the School.
It is highly desirable for applicants to have a current Orange Card, or be willing and able to obtain an Orange Card soon after starting the role.
