Blacktown Boys High School has an enrolment of approximately 820 students and draws students from the local and Greater Western Sydney area catering for a culturally diverse, gender specific student population.
The school serves an assorted group of students including a selective stream, High Potential and Gifted Education classes (HPGE) and an inclusive education unit consisting of an IM class and two multi categorial classes.
The school prides itself in its rich diversity, differentiated teaching, and its focus on the wellbeing of all students.
Blacktown Boys High School is focussed on the holistic development of the student ensuring that academic, cultural, and sporting programs are complemented through a strong student wellbeing program, catering for the physical, social, and mental development of the student.

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
From 8 November 2021 all Department of Education employees undertaking relevant work, including any work conducted on a NSW school site, will be required to meet mandatory double vaccination requirements against COVID-19.
