Job Description

We are seeking an administrative officer 4 days per week (Tuesday - Friday) to work with our friendly office team. This job will be perfect for someone looking to have school holidays available to spend with their family. As the administrative officer, you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing exceptional customer service support to the visitors and students of the school.

About the Role:

As the Administrative Officer you will have the responsibility for the following:

  • Perform a variety of day to day administrative and support services that are routine in nature and directed by the Principal or the Business Manager.
  • Routine activities including reception (telephone and counter enquiries), arranging appointments, correspondence and general administration, maintaining school records, such as incident reports, student admissions, enrolments and departures, processing incoming and outgoing mail and email.
  • Administer day to day financial matters. Training will be provided to manage/support accounts payable.

You will be communicating with colleauges, visitors, and students and will are expected to:

  • undertake first aid training to assist students in the sick bay.
  • be a professional individual who is well -presented
  • has the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks while working well under pressure
  • has excellent time management and attention to detail
  • have a high level of verbal and written communication
  • professional discretion
  • have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite programs

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
