Eligibility
To be eligible to apply you must be a permanent teacher with the Department of Education and have a current application for transfer in the 2022-2023 teacher transfer process which includes a comment on screen 15 of your application indicating your interest in Baringa State Secondary College. Applicants that do not meet this requirement will be automatically excluded.

The Opportunity:
The suburb of Baringa is situated just 7km south-west of the Caloundra beach precinct which includes the iconic Golden, Bulcock and Kings Beaches. The community is rapidly growing and is estimated to be home for approximately 50,000 residents over the next 25 years, with 20,000 new homes, major parklands, sports parks, educational facilities and 700 hectares of linked conservation land.
An exciting opportunity is now available to join the current staff members of Baringa State Secondary College that opened its doors for the first time in 2021. The College is located on the corner of Griffith Place and Baringa Drive, Baringa. We currently have approximately 365 students across Years 7, 8 and 9 with this being extended to year 10 in 2023, with estimated total enrolments of 520 students.
