About the role

Providing strategic leadership of culturally relevant and inclusive services, programs and initiatives supporting the quality teaching of Aboriginal students.

Coupled with this, the position guides and assists with the professional learning of principals, executive and teaching staff with a focus on literacy and numeracy, readiness for school, engagement and connections, attendance and leadership and workforce development.

The role encompasses the coordination and management of specific programs and initiatives, in collaboration with other directorates particularly the Aboriginal Outcomes and Partnerships Directorate as well as the Connected Communities Directorate.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the professional standards and accreditation processes and capacity to coordinate accreditation processes with staff
