Job Description

Bremer State High School are now accepting applications for a motivated and innovative Executive Services Officer to join the team on a temporary, full-time basis. As the Executive Services Officer, you will be required to work closely with the Executive Principal and Team to contribute to the effective and efficient management and administration of the school. This role will include implementation of promotional material, including marketing and communication strategies and initiatives.

Your role
As the Executive Services Officer you will have responsibility for, but not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate school special events including Awards night, Anzac Day, Graduation ceremonies, Study Tours and enrolment information, including consulting with key internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver creative strategies for these events.
  • Coordinate the production of all school publications and promotional material along with the school newsletter and maintain content for the school's website to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive and consistent online and social media presence to promote the school and to communicate responsively with the wider community.
  • Preparation of Recruitment and Selection Documentation as required.
  • Preparation of Insurance Claims and Subpoena Documentation as required.

About you
Key to your success in this role will be your ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills:

  • A working knowledge of departmental administrative policies, practices and procedures used in schools or ability to quickly acquire.
  • Ability to demonstrate high level experience in using a variety of office applications.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Highly developed attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all stakeholders by displaying excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed communication skills to interact with staff at all levels and to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Ability to problem solve and show initiative.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to meet the immediate needs of the Executive Team in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be willing to work outside of normal business hours (if required).
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
