Primary Objective: The role of the Youth Worker is to provide individual and group-based community support specifically to vulnerable groups of young people. The Youth Worker will be a core component of a multi-disciplinary team, assisting young people to engage with schooling and accessing appropriate services. There will be a strong case management focus which is directly aimed at improving educational access and outcomes for students. The Youth Worker is an integral member of the Student Wellbeing Team. This position has as its key focus the development and maintenance of quality relationships with parents, caregivers, agencies and the community in order to support students to remain engaged in education.
