There are multiple opportunities available for teachers who are passionate about supporting students with disabilities to join our Advisory Teacher Team. Various positions are available across Vision Impairment (VI), Hearing Impairment (HI), Physical Impairment (PI), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) teams. These roles will work within a team to build the capability of teachers and school teams throughout the Far North Queensland region. The successful applicant will be based in a local school depending on the needs of the region and the applicant. These are regional positions and will at times require overnight travel, including flying. Travelling to these schools is on a need basis with the schools.
