Looking to progress your career? The Far North Queensland region invites expressions of interest for short term temporary and relieving opportunities for 2021 and 2022. Your Opportunity

This continuous applicant pool is open to candidates interested in employment opportunities as a Principal/Head of Campus (Level 1 or 2) at identified locations in the FNQ Region and whom meet the mandatory employment requirements as detailed in the attached role description. It is a requirement that prospective applicants for this advertisement discuss with their current supervisor support for the application, capacity to release and that the classification level/s nominated are appropriate. Approval for release from your substantive position will be required before any offer of a relieving opportunity is made.

Applications will be reviewed and considered throughout 2021 and Semester 1 2022, if and when Principal/Head of Campus vacancies are identified. The submission of an application to this applicant pool does not guarantee an offer of employment or an application assessment response from the region. Applications will no longer be valid after 8 July 2022.

The positions may range in duration up to a school semester. The region may also elect to progress a separate EOI for individual positions when considered appropriate.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
