Salary Range: $75,470 - $108,695 per annum pending experience

Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Ingham offers Prep to Year 6 in a Catholic co-educational environment. Located in Ingham in the Hinchinbrook Shire, the school was established one hundred years ago by the Sisters of Mercy in 1915 who continued to have a strong involvement in the school for many decades. Today the school is administered by a lay principal and staff however the Mercy tradition and charism remain strong in the school’s culture and community.
Faith, Mercy, Education and Hope are the values on which the school operates today, delivering quality Catholic education that gives students the opportunity to develop to their full potential. Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School is a strong community that is supported greatly by the parish and parents. The school is IT-driven with an emphasis on embedding technology into the pedagogy. Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School is seeking experienced and dedicated Prep Teachers. There are 2 Full Time, Fixed Term Contract positions available for the duration of the 2022 Teaching Year.

The Townsville Catholic Education Office is based in Townsville, employing more than 70 staff members who service schools in various areas of speciality - religious education, curriculum, ICT, Indigenous education, counselling, speech pathology, hearing and vision impairment, early years education, employment services, finance, planning and development and marketing.
The Diocesan Education Council is the advisory body representing Catholic Education. Headed by the Bishop, the Council comprises members who reflect the interests and views of various groups associated with the teaching mission of the Church. The DEC in conjunction with the Director and Leadership team ensure the direction of the organisation runs in harmony with the Church's mission and vision for Catholic education in the Diocese.
