This Junior Primary position requires the ability to engage learners through a variety of teaching practices including the explicit teaching of skills to ensure success and growth in Literacy and Numeracy.
As Whyalla Stuart Campus has a significant enrolment of Aboriginal learners, an ability to implement inclusive practices including intercultural awareness and appreciation is essential.
The person appointed must have high level Literacy, Numeracy, behaviour management skills and curriculum knowledge.
Current staff are trained to implement Heggerty strategies, Spelling Mastery and Big Ideas in Number.
