Job Description

Bracken Ridge State High School are now accepting applications for a motivated and dynamic Marketing and Events Officer to join their team on a temporary, full-time basis for a period of 12 months unless otherwise determined. As the Marketing and Events Officer, your role will involve communications, marketing and events management, assisting to deliver the vision of State Schools division and nurture positive relationships with students, teachers and stakeholders. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring events and marketing are delivered at a high standard.

We are seeking an Events and Marketing Officer to work closely with our student and teaching team to deliver quality communications and marketing outcomes for our community.

Your role

As the Marketing and Events Officer you will have responsibility for the following:

  • Coordinate school special events including Awards night, Anzac Day, Graduation ceremonies, Open Day, Study Tours and enrolment information, including consulting with key internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver creative strategies for these events.
  • Coordinate the production of all school publications and promotional material along with the school newsletter and maintain content for the school's website to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive and consistent online and social media presence to promote the school and to communicate responsively with the wider community.
  • Provide input into the production and review of the school marketing plan and budget in consultation with the Principal/Executive Principal and Business Manager.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
