Mosman Park Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Cleaners for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2022.
Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year, up to the end of Term 3, 2022.
As a cleaner you would carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other items of general cleaning.
In addition to this, you would also carry out external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of veranda’s and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, removal of cobwebs, other general cleaning as required by the Cleaner-In-Charge.
Suitable applicants should have good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work under minimal supervision as well as a part of a team.
You will ideally be a highly motivated and proactive person who takes pride in being responsible for providing a high standard of cleanliness within the workplace in order to provide a visually pleasing and safe learning environment for our students, staff and visitors to the school.
Mosman Park PS is co-located with the Mosman Park School for Deaf Children (combined population of 474 students from K – Year 6) and provides a stimulating and safe environment where children have the opportunity to fully develop their academic, social, emotional, physical and creative skills. Children’s individual differences are accommodated through an inclusive approach to education.
