About School Infrastructure NSW
School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

About the team
The Strategy, Policy & Reporting unit provides policy, planning and operational support to the executive leadership team to facilitate the achievement of organisational and management objectives, including initiating, fostering and sustaining proactive working relationships with Ministers’ offices with significant ministerial liaison. The role provides support to the Director, Strategy, Policy and Reporting within the Strategy, Policy and Reporting team.

  • Undertake research and analysis to support the delivery of key policy projects in-line with school infrastructure business objectives
  • Contribute to the development of policy and strategy documents
  • Collaborate on the development of contentious business cases
  • Develop and implement strategic policy projects.

KEY KNOWLEGE AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience, preferably gained through the completion of a business-related tertiary qualification and supplemented by practical experience in a diverse and complex operating environment
