Highgate Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year.
Appointments can be made from the pool at any time up until the end of Term 1, 2022.
As a suitable applicant, you will ideally have outstanding curriculum knowledge, high emotional intelligence, be a high-quality teacher, have a great sense of joy, humour and fun, be loyal, hard-working and willing to “go the extra mile”.
You will be a great teacher, who builds trust-filled, quality relationships with students, parents and staff.
You will have the skills to be able to support and encourage the students to achieve the aims outlined in the Western Australian Curriculum, and the Highgate PS vision.

Highgate PS was established in 1895 making it one of the oldest primary schools in Western Australia. It is situated in the suburb of Highgate, only two kilometres from Perth CBD.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
