The Opportunity

About you

To succeed in the role, you will need to be experienced within the Electrical Engineering profession. You are passionate about the industry, aware of current industry requirements and have a willingness to continue to obtain industry knowledge. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to share information with your peers and students face to face and when required, via connected learning platforms.

Successful applicant will possess:

  • A suitable qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering at AQF6 or higher (e.g. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Electronics Engineering, or other suitable qualification)
  • Relevant and demonstrated current practical industry experience of at least 5 years

One of the qualifications below:

• TAE 40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor,


• TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, plus the following units:

1. Adult language, literacy and numeracy skills - TAELLN401A or TAELLN411 (or its successor), and

2. Design and develop assessment tools - TAEASS502A, TAEASS502B, or TAEASS502 (or its successor)


• a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
