About the Role

We are seeking professional Educators who can embrace, enhance and strengthen our service philosophy whilst supporting our program to enrich the early years of our youngest Community members.

Our Educators work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team of professionals to provide high-quality education and care, in a service-based environment. Working collaboratively with other Early Childhood professionals and families to ensure their children are challenged, nurtured and supported in their early years. This is facilitated through the provision of stimulating and safe environments and individual and group-based programming.

We currently have multiple vacancies available ranging from full-time, part-time, contract and casual.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Provide a high standard of education and care which is in accordance with Education and Care Services National Regulations
• Ensure supervision of children is active, adequate and efficient at all times and implement and maintain clear expectations for children when establishing limits for appropriate behaviour.
• Ensure an inclusive, safe, caring and educational environment exists for all children and that the health and wellbeing of each child is a priority.
• Assist with and actively contribute to the development and implementation of holistic educational program for all children, individually and in group situations.
• Assist with the development of programs for children with additional needs to develop their skills and abilities within a supportive learning environment.
• Plan and support the development of culturally responsive programs and responses to all children, within the context of their families and communities.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and valid Working with Children’s Check.
• Sound knowledge of the development of children in the 0-12 years age group in relation to the Early Years Learning and Development Frameworks.
• Ability to make recommendations to the team on the planning and implementation of education and care programs.
• Experience in undertaking educational program planning to meet the needs of all children within the service.
• Ability to identify Health and Safety issues pertaining to the work environment.
