Position Information

Murray High School is located in Lavington in the city of Albury, on the NSW/Victorian border, within the culturally rich Wiradjuri nation. With an enrolment of 713 students the school draws from a diverse community, with 10% of the student population being Aboriginal and a further 10% of students from refugee backgrounds.

Selection Criteria

1. Approval to teach Industrial Technology: Timber (ITW) and Technology Mandatory (ITX).

2. Demonstrated ability to differentiate learning activities and model inclusive teaching practices to support the educational needs of students with a diverse range of learning needs including those from low-socio-economic communities and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander families.

3. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate as a member of the Technology and Applied Sciences faculty and actively contribute to whole school initiatives.

4. Demonstrated ability to create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment in both practical and classroom settings.
