Position Information

Kingswood High School is a comprehensive coeducational high school and is comprised of 950 students, including 12.3% of students from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and 9.3% of students who receive English Language Proficiency support.

Selection Criteria

  • Approval to teach Mathematics 7-10, Mathematics 11-12. Applicants should also address approval or willingness to teach Mathematics Extension 1 & 2.
  • Extensive knowledge of curriculum and assessment with the capacity to collaborate and contribute to the development and implementation of innovative, differentiated and high quality teaching and learning programs that engage all learners.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality teaching and assessment to a diverse range of students including those identified as HP&G.Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated capacity to contribute to faculty and whole school programs.
  • Ability to build positive relationship with students, staff and the wider school community.
  • Knowledge of the educational needs of Aboriginal students and demonstrated commitment to improving their educational opportunities and outcomes.
