The remote community is beside the McArthur River and is almost as famous for its unique characters and history as it is for its fishing. Within driving distance from the township are national parks, historic sites, art centres, and stunning landscapes! The school caters mainly to students with English as an additional language (over 95%) and Assistant Teachers (local Aboriginal educators), provide cross-cultural classroom support to non-Aboriginal educators.
